We are Sarah and Norman Davison from Leeds, West Yorkshire.

 

We are hobby breeders of pedigree British Shorthair cats and kittens. We have now acquired our new breeding prefix which is Dazzlecats.

We have the GCCF registered prefix of Ragapost at the moment due to starting out breeding the Ragdolls. Sadly we have now given up the Ragdolls due to a change in personal circumstances and are now concentrating purely on one breed which is the British Shorthairs. We have one of our ragdolls still here with us but she will be spayed in the very near future and kept as a show / neuter.  Our new prefix application was granted on 15th February 2008 so we are now breeding our British Shorthairs under the prefix of Dazzlecats. 

 

We have attended a breeding seminar with TBRCC (The British Ragdoll Cat Club) and are also members of PRBCC, UKRCC, British Shorthair Cat Club and Yorkshire County Cat Club. We are also looking to attend a breeding seminar for the British Shorthairs when one is accessible.

 

Our aim is to breed healthy and happy kittens that are well socialised and used to every day life. All our kittens will be born indoors and brought up underfoot within the family home.

We aim to concentrate on the Blue Selfs, Blue and White Bi Colours, Blue Creams and Creams. We will also have the odd litter of Black Silver Spotted and Tabbies and Cream Silver Spotted and Tabbies.

 

We currently have one stud boy who is a Blue Self and has wonderful size and type and the most amazing amber eyes. A very big thankyou go to Sheila and Vicky Westall at Catriotic for giving us the chance to own this wonderful boy and improve our breeding programme tremendously. Also to have our wonderful blue and white bi colour girl Madison who is Ren's daughter from his last litter at Catriotic. We also have 5 breeding queens at the moment two of which have just had their first litters.

 

A big thankyou also goes to Rick and Pauline Calladine at Darkcrystal , Sue Wood at Sutillian British Shorthairs, Sue Bennett from Abbey Kennels and Steve and Angie Firth at Emira as without the help of these breeders giving us the chance to own our wonderful girls none of this would be possible.

 

We also aim to continue showing GCCF with one of our Ragdolls that have remained here at Ragapost with us which is Trinity. We also show Madison our blue and white bi colour British Shorthair girl and Pippa our Cream Silver Spotted girl. Our newest edition that will be out on the show bench in the very near future is Ruby my Blue Tortie and White Maine Coon girl. A very special thanks goes to Linda Dutton at Linnel for giving me the opportunity to own this wonderful but very naughty girl.
